Warranty Certificate

Kitchens, Wardrobes & Joinery Works

This Warranty Certificate confirms that all kitchens, wardrobes, and joinery works supplied and installed by POINT D O S DECORATION DESIGN & FIT OUT L.L.C are covered against defects in manufacturing and workmanship, in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty conditions, subject to the terms and conditions stated herein.

1. Warranty Period

  • The warranty shall be valid for a period of Five (5) Years from the date of final handing over to A&M.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship faults only.

2. Free Maintenance Service (FMS)

  • Free Maintenance Service (FMS) shall be provided for a period of One (1) Year from the date of handing over.
  • FMS includes adjustment of hinges, drawer runners, alignment, and inspection related to workmanship defects.
  • FMS does not include replacement of consumables or damages caused by misuse.

3. Scope of Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to:

  • Kitchen cabinets and components
  • Wardrobes and storage units
  • Vanities
  • The agreed items in contract

All accessories, hardware, and materials are covered as per the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This Product & Service Warranty does not cover, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Misuse, abuse, or negligence, including but not limited to:
    • Excessive loading beyond design limits
    • Improper use or rough handling
    • Use of harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or unsuitable cleaning methods
  • Improper maintenance or failure to follow recommended care and usage instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear, including:
    • Minor color variation, fading, or surface aging
    • Natural expansion or contraction of wood-based materials
  • External or accidental damage, including:
    • Impact, scratches, dents, burns, or water damage
    • Damage caused by third parties
  • Environmental and site-related conditions, including:
    • Excessive humidity, heat, or moisture
    • Water leakage, plumbing issues, or seepage
    • Pest infestation
  • Natural calamities and force majeure events, including but not limited to:
    • Fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or acts of God
  • Unauthorized alterations or repairs carried out by parties other than the warranty provider.
  • Electrical, plumbing, or appliance-related issues, unless directly caused by manufacturing defects in supplied joinery components.

Any product or service required under the above excluded circumstances shall be subject to additional cost, including materials, labor, and transportation.

5. Warranty Conditions

  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with proof of handover date.
  • The warranty is valid only for the original installation location and is non-transferable.
  • The company reserves the right to repair or replace defective items at its discretion.
